Auro Technologies acquires DMS

WORLD: 3D sound specialist, Auro Technologies, has announced the acquisition of Digital Media Solution (DMS) – owner of the StormAudio brand – and its subsidiary Digital Media Solution Residential (DMS-R). DMS is the manufacturing partner for the Auro-3D Auriga A/V receiver. The deal reportedly brings the expertise of DMS into the Auro Technologies family, and provides R&D, design, and manufacturing capacity to complement its unrivalled expertise in 3D sound. It will also allow Auro Technologies to control the manufacture and design of its own A/V receiver including amplifiers from concept to delivery.
