Bram de Clerck joins Robe

WORLD: Robe lighting has hired Bram de Clerck as its new business development manager for touring, TV and live events. Mr de Clerck brings an extensive network of contacts to the table and is well known within the global entertainment technology lighting community.
In his new role, Mr de Clerck will be developing relationships with existing clients at Robe and liaising with designers and end-users worldwide. He will also be looking after key clients and designers in Benelux, continuing to build upon his most recent role at Controllux as a product specialist in the region.
‘I am hugely excited about being part of Robe’s talented and motivated team and having the opportunity to help drive the brand forward and ensure it remains among the market leaders in moving light manufacture,’ stated Mr de Clerck. ‘It is a challenge I will really enjoy.’
Prior to his time at Contollux, Mr de Clerck began his career as a lighting technician at rental company Phlippo Showlights before moving on to Luxillag, a film, TV and broadcast lighting company, where he worked as a premium sales specialist. He is described as extremely passionate about working in the entertainment industry, having started working as a DJ during his school years.
