Broadcast Solutions assigns Antti Laurila to Broadcast Products

WORLD: Antti Laurila has joined Broadcast Solutions GmbH as product sales director; a role that will see him take responsibility for the company’s newly created division, Broadcast Products. The business area is part of Broadcast Solutions’ strategy to strengthen its sales and rental activity of exclusive products and to serve as a global distributor.
Mr Laurila is tasked with increasing the organisation’s market share for its existing product catalogue while also nurturing growth within the division via the introduction of new products. This, it is hoped, will establish Broadcast Solutions as a ‘full-service provider’. He reports directly to company CEO Stefan Breder.
‘We are sure that Antti Laurila is the right choice to further develop our products offering and to ensure future growth,’ stated Mr Breder. ‘We are very happy to have Antti with us leading the new products division. Over the years we have gathered a variety of high-class products and now we intend to take the product sales and rentals to the next level.’
Mr Laurila most recently served as CEO at Qualitron, a Finnish systems integrator. While in that role, he also assumed the responsibilities as head of the Qualitron’s subsidiaries in Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia. Prior to that, he worked at Nokia Networks for over 12 years in variety of technical and management roles.
‘I am sure that, with my experience in leading international teams and pushing product developments, Broadcast Solutions can benefit from my skills,’ said Mr Laurila. ‘The development of the new Broadcast Products division will play an important role in the company’s future success.
