Drago Flores named Shotoku marketing coordinator

WORLD: Camera support manufacturer Shotoku Broadcast Systems is aiming to expand global brand awareness with the appointment of Drago Flores as marketing coordinator. Based at the company’s headquarters in Kawasaki, Japan, Mr Flores will be responsible for increasing the company’s marketing efforts, ranging from brand design and advertising through to its website and social media presence.
‘We are excited to welcome Drago to the Shotoku team,’ enthused Tony Hanada, managing director at Shotoku. ‘His international marketing experience and language skills will be a great asset as he helps sharpen the company’s messaging and promotes our wide array of solutions to broadcasters around the world.’
Born in the US, Mr Flores was educated at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, with majors in Japanese and finance. He joins the manufacturer after spending four years in Japan and Korea managing international relations activities. In addition to Japanese and English he is also fluent in Spanish, making him a valuable asset to the company’s expansion operations in the Latin American market.
