Jody Thomas to develop Biamp’s business

WORLD: Jody Thomas has been named as Biamp’s new director of business development, bringing more than two decades of business and product development experience to the role. In his new position, Mr Thomas will be responsible for directing the manufacturer’s sales channel, sales and product management team, and strategic partnerships.
Mr Thomas most recently served as president at Emergent Communications Technology, a company that he founded in 2007. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Kayye Consulting and across both of these roles has reportedly gained an understanding of business development across IT and A/V, as well as systems integration, business management, market analysis, facilities design, product support, development and training.
