Joe Stopka to direct business development at TASCAM

WORLD: TASCAM has appointed Joe Stopka as its new director of business development. Mr Stopka joins the manufacturer having gained extensive experience within the pro audio manufacturing industry at the likes of Sony Professional, Mipro, Electro-Voice and Eventide.
He started his career in the studio as a guitarist, composer and producer, before moving across into sales and marketing for pro audio and MI technologies. In his new role, Mr Stopka will take responsibility for developing new business opportunities in both the studio and live music production arenas, and the film/video recorded sound market.
