Microtech Gefell partners with Dublab

WORLD: Although Microtech Gefell GmbH was founded almost 90 years ago, the German microphone manufacturer has only been exhibiting at the NAMM shown in recent years. At this year’s edition in Anaheim CA, the company announced a co-operation with the non-profit radio station Dublab, which transmits directly from Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. Focusing on positive music, art and culture, DubLab has established itself amongst all those creative artists and film actors in the know.

‘The collaboration was made via the German Consulate in Los Angeles,’ explained Udo Wagner, director sales and marketing. Business development manager Michael Militzer furthered: ‘We have known Consul Biedermann for a couple of years and he kindly provided us with potential partners in Los Angeles, such as the California Institute of the Arts founded by Roy and Walt Disney.’ As part of that cooperation, Microtech Gefell has kindly supplied several models of microphones for the radio stations needs such as the MD300 dynamic used for vocal transmissions.
