Mindstec’s RTI distribution agreement expands

WORLD: RTI has expanded the remit for its South East Asian distribution partner, Mindstec, which now covers Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. The deal also includes Brazil via Mindstec's subsidiary, Dealer. In addition, Mindstec will now manage RTI Asia, a new division that offers RTI and Pro Control solutions, local sales service, training and engineering support.
Mindstec has already established accredited RTI training centres in Hong Kong, India, Singapore and South Africa with further locations planned in Brazil and the UAE. ‘We are busy setting up RTI training centres in all regions, which will train, certify and empower our channel partners to better understand and support the RTI range of products,’ said Syed Abdul Wahab, CEO of Mindstec Distribution. ‘We strongly believe that the training and development of both our people and our partners will be the key to our success.’
The countries included as part of Mindstec’s South East Asia distribution agreement with RTI are Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. ‘Expanding this partnership will broaden our global presence and give dealers access to more localised support and education at their state-of-the-art training centres,’ explained Mike Everett, VP of global sales at RTI.
