Momentum PR & Marketing targets pro audio and MI

WORLD: Drawing upon over 15 years of experience in PR and marketing gained within the pro audio, broadcast and MI sectors, Kim Bang has established Momentum PR & Marketing. The newly-formed company has been setup to assist brands that operate within the aforementioned sectors in their communications and marketing strategies by offering content creation and PR services.
Mr Bang previously served as PR manager at TC Group, where he was responsible for overseeing the marketing of brands such as TC Electronic, TC-Helicon and studio monitor division of Tannoy. ‘I had a great time with TC, but all good things must come to an end,’ he explained. ‘I have built strong media relations in MI and pro audio as well as broadcast during my time with TC and have developed strong, experience-based opinions on how brands can benefit from a mix of a carefully tailored communication strategy, PR, content creation and advertising.’
True to its name, momentum has already been gained, as the company has confirmed its first clients in Dynaudio, Digital Audio Denmark (DAD) and LunaStone Guitar Effects. ‘Our professional speakers were marketed and distributed by TC Group for more than a decade,’ noted Mads Aagard, SVP of marketing at Dynaudio. ‘Kim Bang will focus entirely on this part of the market and also work closely together with our existing marketing team. I am very excited about this collaboration.’
‘With circumstantial growth in recent years, we felt that now was the right time to upscale on our PR and marketing efforts,’ added Mikael Vest, sales director at DAD. ‘Kim will help us in a variety of areas, including PR, communication strategy and social media, and we very much look forward to working with him on stretching our momentum in the market.’
‘It is my goal to help companies stretch their momentum far beyond the initial attention that comes from launching a new product,’ concluded Mr Bang. ‘In today’s dense and fast-paced media world, you simply can’t afford to rely on momentary awareness if you want to grow your business.’
