Polycom EMEA president takes on APAC

WORLD: Polycom’s president, EMEA, Marco Landi, has added the company’s Asia Pacific operations to his remit. With more than 20 years of business development and management experience, he originally joined the video, voice and content solutions manufacturer in 2015.
‘Landi’s leadership capabilities, proven track record as a sales leader and deep understanding of global organisations make him the right leader for this expanded role,’ stated Polycom CEO Mary McDowell. ‘His extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa regions will enable us to continue to deliver the best experience customers and partners while delivering growth.’
Mr Landi expressed his excitement at his new responsibilities while commenting that, ‘the diversity and vibrancy of this geography brings us many opportunities in driving growth’.
In other news, Polycom has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The accreditation was awarded by an independent and accredited certification body following a formal compliance audit.
