Radial appoints manager of engineering

WORLD: Gary Zywiecki has joined Radial Engineering’s Vancouver-based team as the new manager of engineering. He brings more than 25 years of product development experience to the role, gained across the wireless, GPS, telecommunications and control software industries.
Within his new role, Mr Zywiecki will manage the entire R&D process, from concept to launch. The team that he leads comprises engineers with a range of disciplines as diverse as vintage vacuum tube technology and digital and wireless technologies.
Possessing a management degree from Simon Fraser University, as well as a technology degree with honours from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Mr Zywiecki has held several senior management and VP roles at companies including Sierra Wireless and Scientific Atlantic. In his most recent role prior to joining Radial Engineering, he served as director of engineering at Philips Lighting.
