Renkus-Heinz teams with Autodesk for Revit

WORLD: Systems integrators using Autodesk Revit software will now more easily be able to access information on Renkus-Heinz Iconyx Gen5 and VARIAi loudspeakers, allowing designers to ‘seamlessly integrate Renkus-Heinz technologies into 3D models created with Revit software’.
The collaboration between the two companies is intended to help designers deliver a more complete picture of the end-result when working with Building Information Modelling (BIM) files. Information on both models will be accessible on Autodesk Seek, a web service for discovering, previewing and downloading BIM files, models, drawings, and product specifications for active design sessions.
‘Renkus-Heinz has long been closely involved in working directly with design consultants and engineers throughout all aspects of their modelling and planning workflow,’ commented Renkus-Heinz senior vice president Ralph Heinz. ‘Implementing Revit support is a logical step that enables design professionals to easily integrate Renkus-Heinz technologies, including our Iconyx steerable arrays and our VARIAi adaptive directivity modular arrays, into their Revit model.’
