RTI appointment to boost training

WORLD: RTI has brought Justin Bresnahan aboard as its new director of training, as part of its Advanced Control University (ACU). He will work to build the control and automation manufacturer’s training team and develop the in-house training and demo facilities, coordinate training programmes with distribution partners and oversee the production of training resources for dealers.
Mr Bresnahan possesses 17 years of residential and commercial A/V experience and has held training management Samsung Electronics and Tivo, where he established training modules and partnerships. He also previously served as lead installer and assistant regional trainer for Ultimate Electronics and has held sales and management jobs with an number of systems integrators.
‘Justin is a natural fit for this role, bringing with him a wealth of experience as an installer, sales manager, and training professional,’ stated RTI CEO Ed McConaghay. ‘Each of these roles has given him the unique insight and leadership skills that will be vital in recognizing what our dealers need to advance their skills and be successful in today’s market.’
Mr Bresnahan plans to ‘jump right into building upon the ACU vision and broaden the educational resources and opportunities’.
