Mr McConaghay joins the control and automation manufacturer with 22 years of experience as an interim CEO and strategic advisor for a variety of technology companies, gained via his own consultancy firm, Key Indicators, Inc.

RTI’s new CEO has previously served in the same position for Wellbeats, and as joint CEO and director for several organisations, including XL Technology Systems, ViA Inc and Digital Technics, Inc. He co-founded PhotoBook Press, was the senior vice president of sales and marketing at Deluxe Corp and worked at Nortel Ltd for a decade in a number of roles, most recent of which was as its VP of marketing for the Asia Pacific region.

‘Ed possesses the strategic vision, deep operational knowledge, and experience as a hands-on business executive,’ said Mike Everett, RTI’s VP of sales and marketing, Americas. ‘His proven track record of leadership for technology-driven companies, both domestically and internationally, coupled with a strong engineering background makes him a natural fit for the RTI family.’

‘I’m very excited to join RTI in a time of such phenomenal market growth,’ said Mr McConaghay. ‘As a team, we will continue to focus on delivering exceptional products, unmatched dealer support, and a gratifying customer experience to build on our leadership in the IoT and smart home/office space.’
