Stage Tec joins AIMS

WORLD: German manufacturer Stage Tec has become the latest manufacturer to announce its membership of AIMS, the industry body responsible for promoting open standard in the transition from SDI to IP workflows.
‘One of the biggest challenges facing our industry today is the switch to IP-based technical production solutions’, explained René Harder, Stage Tec executive board member. ‘Open standards facilitate this change and give our customers the confidence to invest in systems which are interoperable and meet their needs.
‘Our membership shows our customers that in the long run we work on a common basis,’ added Alexander Nemes, responsible for sales at Stage Tec. ‘Open standards ensure that Stage Tec products fit seamlessly into our customers’ workflows.’
