TEAC appoints Dean Tassio as director of US sales

WORLD: TEAC hopes to gain from Dean Tassio’s prior experiences as the company appoints him the new director of US sales. In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing sales of the TEAC USA division of professional audio and audiophile products.

Mr Tassio has over 35 years of involvement in the consumer electronics industry, previously fulfilling roles as vice president of sales with Polk Audio and executive vice president of sales and marketing for Martin Logan. In addition, he has had executive positions with Triangle Loudspeakers and BAC Custom Musical Instruments in Overland Park, Kansas. He also founded and ran DD&L Vintage Guitars in Kansas City.

‘Dean’s wide and diverse expertise make him an ideal fit for this position,’ explained Jim Mack, executive vice president of TASCAM and TEAC Consumer Audio. ‘He brings a keen understanding of analogue and digital technologies, as well as a deep insight into the perspectives and priorities of our key user base. We’re excited to welcome him to the TEAC team.’

Mr Tassio also expressed excitement toward the recent appointment. ‘As early as I can remember, the TEAC name has always been among the most renowned and respected in our industry.
