Telestream acquires Vidcheck

WORLD: Quality control software manufacturer Vidcheck has been acquired by Telestream LLC. Vidcheck states that Telestream will be able to offer its products globally via its worldwide infrastructure of sales channels and support networks.
It is reported that Telestream will market and sell Vidcheck’s Vidchecker series under its own branding as standalone products. Vidchecker had already been provided with functionality to allow it to integrate with Telestream’s Vantage Media Processing Platform and it is anticipated that greater collaboration between the two teams following the acquisition will result in improved systems integration between the platforms.
In the short-term future, Vidcheck has stated that customers will experience no change to its support channels. Over the course of the coming months, Telestream will explore its options for ‘how and where value can be added for Vidcheck customers by leveraging the Telestream service and support organisation without disrupting successful support systems.’
