TSL Products appoints two new directors

WORLD: TSL Products has hired two new directors, as Mark Davies takes on the role of director of products and technologies, while Karlie Miles joins as worldwide sales director. Both bring multiple decades worth of relevant broadcast industry experience to their new roles.
Mr Davies has worked in the broadcast industry for more than 30 years, gaining extensive knowledge of broadcast workflow including Audio-over-IP and Video-over-IP. Starting his career at Pro-Bel as an engineer, he has enjoyed product management stints at several organisations, including Snell & Wilcox (SAM), Omnitek, Miranda and in his most recent role at Grass Valley. At TSL Products, Mr Davies will manage the product management and development team.
‘Mark has incomparable knowledge of broadcast workflows and is an authority in Audio and Video over IP, which is a key aspect of our product offering and development,’ said TSL Products managing director Chris Exelby. ‘His combination of strategic vision, engineering expertise and commercial awareness enable him to deliver solutions and products that harness the latest technology to solve real-world customer challenges.’

Meanwhile, Ms Miles will report directly to Mr Exelby, taking responsibility for the global sales operations, while also managing key customer accounts and partners around the world. Having held a number of international sales within the broadcast industry, she spent 15 years working at Clear-Com in several senior sales roles and most recently served as sales director for EMEA and APAC at Vitec Videocom.
