TSL Products expands with AdInfa acquisition

WORLD: AdInfa has been acquired by TSL Products in a deal described as bringing a ‘proven DCIM software solution to TSL Products’ current customer base while opening new markets’. AdInfa is the developer of InSite, a leading Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software solution.

While the financial details of the acquisition have not been announced, an official announcement states that AdInfa’s former management team has left the business ‘by mutual consent’, and that the new owner will take on InSite’s technical resource. While the deal offers TSL Products an opportunity to enter the Data Centre market, it also means that InSite will be targeted towards the broadcast sector. It is described by the manufacturer as ‘designed with customer feedback at its heart’, and can ‘connect with virtually any device including PDUs, power meters, and temperature and humidity sensors’.

‘This acquisition is the perfect adjunct for our business, coming at a time of the launch of our new vertical intelligent PDUs and as we continue to build our range of monitoring solutions for broadcast and look towards new markets,’ commented Chris Exelby, managing director of TSL Products. ‘InSite is already well-established with high profile customers including Sky and Cisco; it works out of the box and is very sophisticated in its approach – it offers all the monitoring features that customers have been asking for, as well as many they don’t yet know that they need. We are delighted to add InSite to our portfolio.’
