WyreStorm seeks to cut through HDBaseT uncertainty

WORLD: WyreStorm has released a PDF resource named Connect & Project, aimed at demystifying HDBaseT connectivity. According to the manufacturer, it is aiming ‘to bring the world of direct HDBaseT connectivity into sharper focus’.
The document is described by Wyrestorm as ‘part explanation, part proposition, part product resource’, and is intended to dispel the notion that HDBaseT is a technology found on distribution equipment rather than AVRs, projectors or display devices.
‘Although HDBaseT technology is becoming more of a standard, there is still some confusion in the industry over connectivity and levels of control available,’ explained WyreStorm EMEA general manager Adrian Ickeringill. ‘The Connect & Project document has been designed to better explain the flexibility of HDBaseT inter-compatibility.’
