THAILAND: Specialist multimedia distributor Deco 2000 has established a new Visual Experience Centre in Bangkok. The brainchild of front and rear optical screen specialists dnp denmark — one of Deco 2000’s principal suppliers — the concept behind the new centre is to educate customers.
‘We have expanded the existing showroom in Bangkok by doubling the space area, and will now be dedicating 300 sq-m to displaying and demonstrating the dnp range,’ said Deco 2000’s Wichai Pawitwatana.
Already dealers and interior consultants, working on behalf of the customers, have visited the new showroom where they have been able to see working models of dnp’s 96-inch Supernova Epic CS (with 08-85 screen material), 132-inch Supernova Epic 132 (08-85) and 155 Supernova Infinity (with 23-23 new high gain material). Also in the showroom are the 120-inch Supernova Flex, 118-inch Flex Classic, 120-inch WinFlex and 84-inch versions of Supernova One and Supernova Core, while rear projection is represented by an 84-inch NWA display.
Mr Pawitwatana has high hopes for the new facility and with architects, consultants and A/V dealers already participating in working demonstrations of dnp display systems, Deco 2000 is planning a series of workshops and seminars in the future. ‘The customers are impressed with the showroom since it demonstrates how dnp screens eliminate the light source in order to improve picture quality,’ he said. ‘They are pleased to be able to see so many different product types so that they can choose to fit their applications.’
The latest dnp showroom is the second of three Visual Experience Centres that the Danish manufacturer will be opening in Asia. The final one, hosted by The Sound Room, will open soon in India.
