Christie solution chosen for Southeast Asia Bible Seminary

INDONESIA: Three sets of Christie HD10K-M three-chip DLP projectors and a Christie AutoStack system were recently installed into the Southeast Asia Bible Seminary’s 1,500 auditorium for use with its 13m wide by 2.8m high panoramic screen.
Located in Malang, Indonesia, the Southeast Asia Bible Seminary, better known as SAAT or Seminari Alkitab Asia Tenggara is a theological college that was established in 1952.
‘The auditorium provides us with an ease in creatively delivering our teaching using multimedia tools,’ said Martus A Maleachi, vice president for administrative affairs, SAAT. ‘It helps to direct the students’ attention subconsciously to the display material and thereby imprint the message in their minds. This is of utmost importance to our teaching to fulfil our mission as a seminary. Besides its usual teaching function, the auditorium also serves as a key venue for our regular conferences and church music concerts,’ he explained.
‘This can only be achieved with the most advanced technology,’ he continued. ‘For the visual system, we need projectors with an edge blending capability in order for multiple projectors to work together to produce superb projection for our panoramic screen.
‘We visited several places to study and compare images and display projection, and we were very determined to get an excellent image display, far better than the ones we’ve seen. The final result powered by Christie projectors is just like what we expected at the very beginning,’ he enthused.
