Clockaudio opens South-East Asian office

SINGAPORE: UK microphone manufacturer Clockaudio has opened a new office dedicated to serving South-East Asia and its growing customer base in the region.

Located in the Aljunied district of Singapore and run by general administrator Jade Tan, the facility will keep a stock of popular products onsite in an effort to ensure an immediate delivery for important projects. Sales and marketing manager Rod Geary explained the decision to open the office: ‘It’s a toe in the water for now, but it’s a big investment for Clockaudio. We’ve experienced increasing sales in the past 18 months, especially in the corporate sector, and we want to better serve our customers, dealers and consultants there.’

He added: ‘The office is on the same time as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam give or take an hour, so it’s easier to contact the office there and receive feedback to an enquiry on the same day rather than liaising with the UK office. We set distribution in China in 2003 followed by Japan earlier this year, and both of them are doing really well. You have to think locally to increase your business globally.’

Rytech Marketing, headed by industry veteran Robert Yeo, continues to distribute the brand in the region.
