E&E India installs Community into St Joseph Church

INDIA: E&E Systems India PVT LTD recently installed a Community Professional sound reinforcement system into the St Joseph Church in Bangalore.
In particular, the small church was keen to obtain a ‘softer’ sound for its many choir performances and sermons. Heading up the project was E&E Systems’ project manager Jesmon PK, who designed the audio solution for the space, taking into account the acoustic environment, the aesthetics and the budget.
Mr PK settled on four Community Professional Veris 6 two-way, full-range systems to cover the room, managed via a Mackie ProFX22 mixer and a Mackie SP260 2x6 speaker processor.
‘We thought of installing Community Professional’s Veris 1296 compact installation loudspeakers,’ said Mr PK, ‘but then realised that that this particular speaker would have been really loud for the church, so we wanted to go for something really soft and more efficient for speech purposes and for the choir.
‘The Community Veris series is a perfect speaker cabinet for this installation as the church’s sermons feature a lot of speech, choir performances and prayer,’ added Mr PK. ‘It blends in really well with the structure and boundaries with the least amount of EQ. The installation all went well, and we achieved the perfect displacement of sound, covering all areas according to our calculations.’
Church management were reported to be thoroughly impressed with the final outcome, and were quick to congratulate the E&E team on a job well done. ‘The client is very happy,’ concurred Mr PK. ‘The clarity is much improved and produces the right SPLs, so churchgoers listening to the prayers are now more than happy too!’
