SINGAPORE: October’s House of Worship Technologies Asia tradeshow will have a heavy focus on education. The show will offer 16 audio, video, lighting and camera instructional seminars taught by an international panel of industry experts on houses of worship.
The seminar sessions will feature professional musicians, engineers, producers, and consultants who have worked with places of worship in the region and are qualified to train sound and praise teams of any congregation. According to the organiser, this three-day seminar has been designed to help volunteers in worship technology systems to communicate and facilitate worship more effectively.
Highlights of the sessions include, basic instructional classes on audio console, miking, lighting system design, camera skills, and planning and designing the audiovisual systems, as well as advanced courses on multisite, lighting effects and broadcast installation - tailored for those who are exploring to update and renovate their existing systems. There will also be a special segment for mosque sound systems with Ahmad Tekin Topuzdag and a segment on church technology systems from Robert Soo.
The educational programme will run alongside House of Worship Technologies Asia at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore between the 4th to 6th October.
