Elation lights up the Anomaly tour

WORLD: Supplied by live events brand management company LabeLive, Christian Hip hop artist Lecrae has been supported with an Elation lighting rig for his recent US tour. The company provided full production and stage design for the Anomaly tour, which encompasses Platinum Wash 16R Pro and Platinum 5R Extreme moving heads as well as Elation Cluepix Blinders.
The stage design was heavily focused around video, requiring lighting support to fill in the gaps. ‘I have 12 Platinum 5R Extremes placed in the LED wall and above the wall creating a cool punch and vibe that you can’t get from a larger fixture,’ explained Lecrae’s lighting designer Cory Fornier.
A total of 12 330W Platinum Wash 16R Pro fixtures were placed on truss towers on the downstage left and right edge to create a side wash. ‘It is one of the coolest features in the rig,’ he added. ‘Using the beamshaper as a rotating effect and also in specific keylight moments creates a feel and a moment that is perfect for the show.’
A total of 12 Elation LED Cuepix Blinder fixtures were also positioned on a mid-stage truss and used to complement the video design.
