First patent Issued for myMix personal monitoring system

US: On January 17, 2012 the first patent for the myMix personal monitoring and recording system was officially issued by the US Patent Office. The patent is for the user interface for network audio mixers.
The myMix interface allows users to navigate the device without the need for complicated, technical knowledge: they are in control of naming their channels and the device shares this information to the network – which means that even though each unit operates independently, every unit recognises the information provided by the other units once they are connected on the network.
