Indian mosques opt for Montarbo

INDIA: Two mosques in the southern part of India have replaced their old sound systems with new ones from Italian loudspeaker manufacturer Montarbo.

The Montarbo systems were tested against other speaker brands at the Salafi Alathiyur Masjid and Salafi Cheloor Masjid before being selected. The leaders of both mosques decided that, ‘the system’s quality and power are astonishing and capable for satisfying even the most demanding users.’ They added that the new systems ‘were a great experience for the believers in the holy month of Ramadan.’

Identical systems have been installed in both mosques. Twenty of Montarbo’s MT160P mini passive systems are driven through two 459 the powered mixers. Both also used six AKG D5 mics and AKG’s wireless lapel mic. The installation was completed with AmPro cables and connectors from Neutrik.

Both systems were supplied by Montarbo’s exclusive Indian distributor, Sound Land. The installation engineer was Lakshman, who used analyzer software to setup the sound and speaker placement.
