Latest Grass Valley technology revealed at key expo

INDIA: Visitors to the 2012 Broadcast Engineering Society (BES) Exhibition at the Pragati Maidan Convention Centre in New Delhi recently were able to see hands-on demonstrations of the latest high definition, IT-centric live production equipment and systems from manufacturer Grass Valley. The presentation included two HD camera models, a live production switcher and servers.
The Grass Valley LDK 8000 Elite is widely regarded as the world’s flagship HD camera, used by most of the leading outside broadcast operators and in production studios around the globe. It was displayed at BES alongside the LDK 3000+ HD camera, aimed at more price sensitive applications. It uses much of the same optics and electronics but is based on Grass Valley’s unique Xensium CMOS imagers.
