SINGAPORE: Goo Central, Goo Systems’ product and service centre in SouthEast Asia, has attracted the attention of HOW A/V users recently following several successful projects in Singapore and the surrounding region. The latest of these is the installation of a Screen Goo High Contrast Screen at the New Creation Church’s Shine Auditorium in the centre of Singapore.
‘The Goo screen is actually a piece of gypsum mounted 3m above the ground measuring 7m x 5m,’ explained Goo Central’s Anne Chiang, ‘It’s the latest addition to the Shine Auditorium belonging to the New Creation Church in Singapore, and was installed by Unusual Development Pte Ltd, part of the Unusual Group of event and concert production companies.
‘The application was more challenging than usual,’ continued Ms Chiang, ‘with scaffolding and two painters having to be coordinated with each other to maintain a uniform shade and texture throughout. The meeting of the two painters’ strokes in the centre had to be seamless.
‘There is a video on our YouTube channel that shows the step by step application of Screen Goo High Contrast for an auditorium screen,’ added Ms Chiang.
Goo Central Pte Ltd is Screen Goo Asia’s Customer Service Centre for South East Asia, with a footprint that includes Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam.
