Soundus Corporation brings One Systems and On Point Audio to Shin-Gi-Chon

SOUTH KOREA: Soundus Corporation was recently chosen to provide a sound system for the Shin-Gi-Chon Church of Seoul, South Korea, and selected products from One Systems and On Point Audio for the project. South Korea’s Design Team was responsible for the design of the system.

The Shin-Gi-Chon church was established in 1987 and was rebuilt in January 2013 to accommodate its growing congregation of nearly 1,000 members. Church authorities realised that the new, larger space needed compact, yet robust speaker systems, and promptly contacted Soundus to design and install a new system.

The installation included One Systems’ 103IM speakers mounted on the ceiling to cover the upper and lower balcony areas, whilst On Point Audio OPA-15 NPM monitors were mounted around the chancel area and directly beneath the pulpit to support both the worship band and ministers.

‘We wanted to support the powerful On Point Audio monitor systems with wide, vertical coverage and One Systems was the preferred choice and a perfect fit,’ explained Se-Jung Jang, of the Soundus marketing team. ‘We chose One Systems 103IMs and On Point Audio’s OPA-15NPMs for this particular installation because they are compact and do not distract the eye from worship – blending harmoniously with the space. Members of the congregation, as well as the pastor are very pleased with the sonic performance of both One Systems and On Point Audio.’
