Suus Electronics brings clarity to St Joseph’s Social Church

INDIA: An Electro-Voice audio system has been installed at St. Joseph’s Social Church in Kochi, India. During a recent renovation of the building, the management decided the time was right for a new audio solution to enable sermons to be delivered more clearly. As well as increasing intelligibly, the speakers also needed to blend ascetically with the building’s interior design.
Local installer Suus Electronics proposed Electro-Voice EVF speakers finished in white, Q series amplifiers and DC-One processing for inside the building. Weather-resistant Evid 4.2 speakers were installed at the church entrance to allow mass to be heard outside.
Another of the church’s main requirements was an ‘easy-to-operate’ system. To cater for this, Suss Electronics created multiple end-user presets in the DSP accommodating multiple common configurations.
The result, according to the installers, is an audio system comprised of EV products that ‘not only complements the church aesthetically, but also provides rich and clear audio quality’, adding that the management at the church is ‘extremely pleased with the installed solution’.
