Two South Korean churches equipped with K-array

SOUTH KOREA: Soundus’ Sunbeom Kim and Soundenergy’s Giwook Cha recently worked together to equip two South Korean churches with K-array sound reinforcement systems.
When it was time to upgrade the existing audio system in the Do-ha Methodist church located in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi, the client specified that the new system had to be architecturally unobtrusive so as not to affect the décor within the main sanctuary of the church. Secondly, it needed to be easy to operate.
With this in mind, a K-array Blueline KB1 speaker system was selected. ‘The pastor was surprised to hear how well the thin and small speaker performed,’ said Mr Cha. ‘Also, he liked the design of the speakers, which look much slimmer and neater compared to the old system.’
Similarly, the new audio system in the Noryangin church in Bon-dong needed a speaker system design that complimented the interior. Soundenergy suggested that the HOW use K-array’s Kobra KK102, which was then installed in a reported one hour and 20 minutes.
‘Despite their small size, K-array speakers deliver impressive power and sound quality; the only way we could have incorporated the speaker better with the architecture is if we had buried it!’ said Mr Kim.
‘I must give a special acknowledgment to Sunbeom for his help in these installations,’ said Mr Cha.
