UK HOW invests in Digital Projection DLP projectors

WORLD: Wigwam Acoustic recently installed a comprehensive audio and video system at the Danbury Mission Church in Essex, UK, including Digital Projection DLP projectors and a full Roland system including consoles, stage boxes and personal monitors.
The church has a busy events calendar and needed a high quality system that would be flexible enough to cater for speech, live bands, vision and playback, but simple enough to be used by a number of people with varying technical knowledge.
Wigwam required a small and quiet three-chip DLP projector with a high light output and a fully featured interface. The installation company specified a Digital Projection Highlite 660 projector and a Roland V-800HD Multi format video switcher, along with a pan/tilt/zoom Vaddio clearview HD remote controlled camera. The V-800HD and projector are controlled by RTI advanced control products, set up with a dedicated button for each source, allowing a user to choose from a control panel of eight switches.
In addition, d&b audiotechnik white range loudspeakers were installed, including two xA series 10AL-D speakers with two 18A subwoofers. Two 10S speakers reside at the front to cover the body of the church, while two 8S loudspeakers cover the balcony area with three 5S loudspeakers for front-fills. Two 18S subwoofers were also installed as the church needed a full range system to support its worship band and musical events.
