Pro Connect Asia goes poolside in Mumbai

INDIA: The latest Pro Connect Asia networking event took place in Mumbai during InfoComm India, attracting a broad cross section of industry members from across the international A/V community.

The Mumbai event, held in the lush gardens which overlook the swimming pool of Waterstone’s Hotel, was the latest in a series of evenings which Pro Audio Asia has hosted over the past three years. These complimentary evenings provide a relaxed environment for professionals to meet, make new contacts, reconnect with old friends and exchange ideas.

‘We welcome this opportunity to host the industry for an evening, with an emphasis on good food, wine and conversation,’ said Pro Audio Asia editor, Caroline Moss. ‘It is our pleasure to provide an informal setting with absolutely no agenda, presentations or long speeches, where the only condition is that our guests relax and have a fun evening.’

Around 60 industry professionals attended the event, which went on late into the balmy Mumbai night. ‘It’s been a great evening in the company of some interesting fellow industry members,’ said Hock Thang, regional sales manager, Asia Pacific, at Symetrix. ‘Pro Connect Asia was held in a stunning location with great food and company. It was a rare chance to relax in the middle of the hectic trade show, and the evening was clearly very much enjoyed by everyone.’

As well as thanking all those who made it along to Waterstone’s, Pro Audio Asia would also like to express gratitude to IES, who helped organise the event.
